PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL CHANGE

PHYSICAL CHANGE
Does not form new substance, Reversible (can turn back to the original state)
Does not cause chemical reaction

The examples of physical changes are:
a. wood become table f. Freezing
b. painting wall g. Melting
c. Ice melt h. Sublimation
d. Vapor ( uap air ) water i. condensation
e. Paper become book

CHEMICAL CHANGE
Form new substance, Irreversible (can not turn back to the original state)
Caused chemical reaction

The examples of chemical changes are:
a. Photosynthesis event on plant
b. Corrosion
The mixture of the iron and the air will slowly form new substance called rust. The rust substance is not the same us before.
c. Burning
If paper burned will became ash . The ash substance is not the same us before.
d. Fermentation
For example : cassava is fermented became fermented cassava. The fermented cassava substance is not the same us before.
